Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to bring new or improved products to market. Support products in production and lead product cost reduction projects based on supplied objectives. Ownership of project deliverables, including design drawings, design review action items, electrical diagrams, assembly instruction documentation, etc. Assist Engineering team members in part setup, bill of material (BOM) creation and method of manufacturing (MOM) structure within ERP system (Epicor). Develop, debug and maintain product BOM configurator templates within ERP system. Regular communication with cross-functional team members and task progress tracking via project management tool (Adobe Workfront). Simultaneously support multiple projects in various phases of the product life cycle. Qualifications and Experience: 3-5 years of professional engineering work experience, preferably in Value Engineering. Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited program. 3D CAD software expertise required. Autodesk Inventor and Vault preferred. Experience in sheet metal fabrication, plastic/aluminum extrusion, injection-molded plastic part design preferred. Demonstrated success working in cross-functional teams through projects or organizations. Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
