No of Vacancies1Reports toCredit Specialist - MCIs a Team leaderNTeam SizeNAGradeSenior Manager/AVP/VPBusinessCorporate CenterDepartmentWholesale CreditSub-DepartmentMC CreditLocationCO-Mumbai / Noida / Bangalore / Chennai / Hyderabad KolkataAbout Wholesale CreditThe Wholesale Credit department in the Bank is a Credit Underwriting department for all Large/ mid and SME borrowers of the Bank The department is responsible for maintaining the portfolio quality and for ensuring smooth credit appraisal process The bank has a separate Mid-Market vertical which focuses to deepen its presence in regional business clusters and expand its presence amongst the companies operating with turnover in the range of Rs250 Crs to Rs1000 Crs Mid Corporate (MC) Credit underwrites credit facilities sanctioned to corporates operating in mid-market in IndiaAbouttheRoleThe Bank has a separate Coverage and Credit vertical for dealing with Mid corporates All the credit proposals originating from the coverage team requires independent vetting and sign off from the credit team Therefore, the underlying role is of utmost importance in deciding the right credit and taking the right decisionsCredit Analyst-WCMC is responsible for managing the credit activities and processes of the WC-MC vertical for the designated location The credit analyst should enable smooth functioning of the Credit, ensuring sanction of proposals within the defined TAT, also ensuring the credit quality standards, ie, managing the portfolio quality ensuring adherence to the processes designed by the bankReview of credit proposals ensuring adherence to the credit policy of the bank and other external and internal guidelinesEnsure the quality of proposals and credit appraisal to minimize delinquency and build portfolio of expected qualityGather market intelligence with other ficial institutions and entities to understand the market dynamics and risk trends, and to use necessary information for taking credit decisionsAppraise the sanctioning authority on all the strengths and weaknesses of the proposal and all the critical information and insights required for decision makingMonitor the accounts to ensure maintece of a healthy portfolio Regular site visits and promoter level interactions for better portfolio monitoringManage the relationship with various functions and departments within the bank to ensure collaboration and alignment to organizational objectivesQualificationsGraduation/ Post- Graduation (MBA/ CA preferred) from a recognized instituteExperience in assessing credit of Corporate clientsRole ProficienciesFor successful execution of the job, the candidate should possess:Knowledge of credit, industry and product trendsKnowledge of regulatory guidelines and normsGood communication (both verbal and written) skill in both English and the local languageAbility to handle pressure and meet deadlines
