Job Description

Role Overview: As an Associate at PwC, you will work as part of a team to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Your responsibilities will include providing feedback, collaborating effectively, identifying opportunities for improvement, data analysis, risk management, staying updated on industry developments, clear communication, building networks, upholding ethical standards, and more. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze client requirements. - Review estimates and suggest updates. - Design and develop solutions in a timely manner. - Support testing and address client queries. - Communicate with onsite team. - Participate in scrum calls and provide status reports. - Engage in Center of Excellence activities, trainings, and recruitments as required. Preferred Skill Set: - Hands-on experience in Guidewire products. - Proficiency in Rating. - Strong knowledge in Guidewire platform including Gosu scripting, UI, and Data Model. - Familiarity with Webservices, XML, and ant script. - Experience with Oracle/SQL Server databases and SQL. - Exposure to SCM tools like GIT, TFS, SVN, and DevOps. - Knowledge of servers/containers such as Tomcat, JBoss, Websphere. - Familiarity with cloud technologies like AWS, Azure. - Strong written and oral communication skills. - Excellent analytical abilities. - Experience with Scrum, SAFe, or other Agile delivery methods. - Understanding of the insurance domain.
