Description

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Coder to join our healthcare team in India. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in medical coding, specifically in radiology, and will be responsible for ensuring accurate coding of diagnostic and procedural services.

Responsibilities

Review and analyze radiology medical records to ensure accurate coding of diagnoses and procedures.
Assign appropriate codes using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems for radiology services.
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to clarify documentation and coding issues.
Ensure compliance with coding guidelines, regulations, and hospital policies.
Participate in coding audits and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Stay updated on changes in coding practices and regulations.

Skills and Qualifications

1-3 years of experience in medical coding, specifically in radiology.
Proficient in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
Strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy related to radiology.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in coding.
Ability to analyze and interpret medical records and documentation.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with medical staff and resolve coding queries.
