Job Summary

R2R Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

1. R2R Operations & Close Activities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Review and approve journal entries, accruals, adjustments, and reclassifications.
• Manage amortizations, prepayments, depreciation, and recurring journal activities.
• Ensure accurate posting of standard journals, provisions, and deferrals.
• Oversee TB, P&L, and balance review processes.

2. Reconciliations

• Supervise bank reconciliations and subledger-to-GL reconciliations (AP, AR, Payroll, Inventory, FA).
• Ensure timely preparation and review of balance sheet account reconciliations, including accruals, advances, and provisions.

3. Fixed Assets Accounting

• Oversee asset capitalization, additions, transfers, retirements, and disposals.
• Manage depreciation runs and asset impairment adjustments.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with asset accounting policies.

4. Intercompany Accounting

• Review intercompany invoices, settlements, reconciliations, and eliminations.
• Ensure proper documentation and alignment with group reporting requirements.

5. Consolidation & Reporting

• Support the consolidation/FP&A team with group reporting submissions.
• Validate adjustment entries for management reporting and variance analysis.

6. Compliance, Controls & Audit

• Ensure adherence to SOX/internal control requirements and accounting policies.
• Support internal and external audit activities.
• Strengthen internal controls and improve accuracy in financial reporting.

7. Team Leadership

• Supervise, coach, and mentor the R2R team.
• Drive a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and performance excellence.
• Support training, capability building, and role transitions.

8. Process Improvement & Transformation

• Lead process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support ERP implementation, process migrations, and system enhancement projects.
• Identify inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions proactively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA Inter/CWA Inter/MBA preferred).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles including IFRS/US GAAP.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and reporting tools.

Experience

• 1012 years

  of progressive experience in Record-to-Report (R2R).

• 35 years

  of supervisory or managerial experience.
• Experience in shared services, global capability centers (GCCs), or multinational environments.
• Logistics industry experience is a plus.
