Job Description

Job Title:

Location:

Purpose of the Role

Manager R2R / GL Accounting

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end accounting for owned/managed hotels including GL Review, Journal posting, P&L Analysis, Month-end close, Cash flows, and Owner Reporting.
Review and finalize Balance Sheet Reconciliations with adequate backup and timely clearance of open items.
Ensure integrity of system data by analyzing reports, investigating variances, and resolving issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, hotels, and business stakeholders to deliver accurate financials.
Drive MIS reporting, process improvements, automation, and efficiency initiatives.
Coordinate with internal/external auditors and handle audit queries effectively.
Manage transitions of new processes and ensure smooth BAU operations.
Lead team performance management including reviews, training, skill development, and succession planning.
Prepare and review reports required for special studies, projects, and management initiatives.
Deliver accurate and timely financial statements and reports to internal and external stakeholders.

Education & Qualifications

Preferred:
CA / CWA / CFA / MBA (Finance)
Also Considered:
B.Com / M.Com / Semi-qualified professionals

Experience

10+ years of relevant experience in R2R / GL Accounting
Minimum 3 years in leading/managing teams
Strong expertise in accounting, reconciliations, reporting, and audits

Technical Skills

Hands-on experience with
PeopleSoft
or similar ERP (SAP / Oracle etc.)
Strong proficiency in
MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Sound knowledge of Accounting Standards and best practices
Ability to analyze, resolve process issues, and drive automation
