Role Overview: As an experienced developer for the MART application, your main focus will be on creating detailed member-level information by developing the application's user interface and integrating it with data sources. This role involves Application (UX) development and ETL pipeline development using tools like R Shiny, JavaScript, and CSS. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain the user interface (UI) of the MART application using R Shiny, JavaScript, and CSS to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience. - Develop and maintain efficient and scalable ETL pipelines using GCP Dataform and BigQuery for data extraction, transformation, and loading from various on-premise (Oracle) and cloud-based sources. - Implement data manipulation and transformation logic in R to create a longitudinal data format with unique member identifiers. - Set up comprehensive logging and monitoring using Splunk. - Collaborate with other developers, data scientists, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software on time. - Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, testing, and deployment. - Contribute to maintaining and enhancing existing application functionality. - Work within a Git-based version control system. - Manage data securely in a dedicated GCP project, following cloud security and scalability best practices. - Assist in creating summary statistics for groups through the Population Assessment Tool (PAT). Qualifications Required: - Strong proficiency in R Shiny for UI development. - Proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, and HTML for front-end development. - Background in data science and Data Analyst roles. - Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL pipelines, preferably using GCP Dataform and BigQuery. - Experience in data manipulation and transformation in R, including creating longitudinal datasets. - Familiarity with on-premise databases (Oracle) and Big R query for data access. - Experience with Git for version control. - Experience with Splunk for logging and monitoring. - Familiarity with working on cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP). - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Additional Company Details: The company operates on a shift basis from 3 PM to 12 midnight. Good to Have Skillsets: - Experience with Tableau for dashboarding and data visualization. - Knowledge of advanced data visualization techniques. - Experience working in an Agile development environment.
