Job Title: R&D Water Treatment Chemist

Job Summary

R&D Water Treatment Chemist

Key Responsibilities

Conduct R&D activities for new water treatment chemical formulations.
Perform detailed water analysis: pH, TDS, alkalinity, hardness, silica, BOD, COD, turbidity, chloride, etc.
Optimize chemical dosing programs for industrial applications (RO, Cooling Tower, Boiler, ETP/STP).
Evaluate product performance and recommend improvements.
Support production team with scale-up trials and product standardization.
Maintain laboratory instruments, calibration, and documentation.
Prepare technical reports, lab notes, and formulation sheets.
Assist customers with troubleshooting and field support when required.
Ensure all R&D activities follow safety, environmental, and compliance standards.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of water chemistry and industrial water treatment processes.
Hands-on experience in R&D, product development, and testing.
Proficiency in laboratory instruments (spectrophotometer, pH meter, COD digester, etc.).
Ability to prepare chemical formulations and conduct performance trials.
Strong problem-solving, analytical and documentation skills.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
