Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities:

• Oversee cost control procedures across all phases of interior projects — from design through construction, final accounts, and defects maintenance.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, bills of quantities, and financial reports.
• Assess, evaluate, and provide recommendations on financial claims, supporting settlements where required.
• Review, evaluate, and document all variations, additional works, field changes, and omissions, and incorporate them into monthly cost reports.
• Prepare and price change orders, and negotiate agreements with clients and contractors as needed.
• Lead cost review meetings with contractors, recording minutes and ensuring follow-up actions are implemented.
• Assist in preparing tender documents and invitation-to-bid packages.
• Conduct feasibility studies and provide accurate cost advice for project planning.
• Provide support during negotiations, arbitration, or dispute resolution processes.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 0–1 years of experience in quantity surveying, cost control, or estimation.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and documentation skills.
• Basic understanding of construction/interior materials and cost estimation practices.
• Proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of AutoCAD or estimation software is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with attention to detail.
