Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and finalize

  BOQ (Bill of Quantities)

  based on drawings and specifications.
• Conduct

  cost estimation, budgeting, and forecasting

  for projects.
• Manage

  tendering & bidding processes

  , including vendor negotiations and rate analysis.
• Track project costs and ensure alignment with budgets through

  cost control and monitoring

  .
• Evaluate

  contract terms, claims, and variations

  in coordination with project teams.
• Prepare

  cash flow forecasts, cost reports, and MIS reports

  for management review.
• Ensure effective

  procurement planning

  and vendor coordination.
• Support project managers in

  value engineering

  and cost optimization.
• Handle

  final account settlements

  post-project completion.
• Ensure compliance with

  quality, safety, and statutory standards

  .

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of

  civil works, interior fit-outs, and MEP projects

  .
• Expertise in

  cost estimation, contract management, and rate analysis

  .
• Proficiency in

  MS Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project / Primavera

  (CostX / Candy / Planswift added advantage).
• Excellent

  negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  .
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in

  Civil Engineering

  or related field.
• Professional certifications in QS/Cost Management will be an added advantage
