We are hiring for one of the Dubai based clients! QUANTITY SURVEYOR Location - Navi Mumbai - Ghansoli. Permanent role with Drydocks Mumbai Exp : Minimum 3 years experience in in similar position from a reputable construction yard. Education - Degree / Diploma or equivalent qualification in Marine, Mechanical or Naval Architecture. IC role with functional team management of subordinates in terms of QC checks. Industry - Shipyard / Construction facility with vessels conversion / Oil & Gas constructions Technical skills - Auto Cad / Engineering drawing construction yard/ shipyard/oil & gas who has directly worked on sites. Exp in preparing reports directly, assess and tabulate reports, technical drawings through AutoCAD, understand different methods of measurements and dimensions. Responsible for quantifying the actual works in line with Contractual terms, compare with the bid quantities, prepare and submit remeasure reports, variation proposals and invoices. Calculate man-hours for each Trade for the scope specified, in line with the bidding document and / or existing norms. Assist Invoice to identify Lump Sum Contractors through tendering, negotiate and agree scope and prices with them Prepare and submit additional tenders / variation proposals as requested by the Invoice Participate in discussions with Client to clarify the remeasure reports / variation proposals. Client/stakeholder management, Negotiations, process improvements, Reporting Familiar with technical requirements related to Conversion / Construction scope.
