Quantity Surveyor / Billing Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced engineer willing to work as a Billing Engineer for large-scale construction projects. The right candidate would have a good understanding of civil engineering aspects of a construction site and experience of working in a similar role. The role will be to handle the billing process of the project and minutely check & verify all the bills to ensure that the quantity, specifications, and price is appropriately captured in the related bills and other documents. He shall be well conversant with the contractual provisions of measurements and payment terms & conditions. Responsibilities: Check and verify contractors RA Bills Prepare extra excess saving statements. Check and verify price escalation. Take and check the joint measurement record. Maintaining documentations Preparation of Rate analysis statements Preparation / verification of extra items Education: · Mandatory: A Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering / construction management Experience: Years: 5 to 8 years ( Out of which minimum 3yrs should be in Highrise residential or commercial projects) Candidate having experience of working in Government Projects will be preferred. Competencies / Attributes / Skills: Good interpersonal and networking skills. Analytical skills and ability to interpret data, collate information, and prepare reports. Excellent planning and organizing skills. Proficiency in MS office Understanding drawings, construction codes, construction sequence and standards. Energy, can-do attitude, and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure timely completion of projects.
