We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor & Billing Engineer with 5–6 years of proven experience in BOQ preparation, cost estimation, billing management, and contract administration for construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing project quantities, preparing accurate cost estimates, verifying site progress, and ensuring timely billing and certification.

Key Responsibilities1. Quantity Surveying & BOQ Management

• Prepare, review, and update Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for all project stages.
• Conduct detailed quantity take-offs from architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Verify quantities during execution and collaborate with site teams for updates.
• Ensure BOQs comply with project specifications, codes, and standards.

2. Cost Estimation & Budgeting

• Prepare cost estimates, rate analysis, and material cost breakdown for tenders and ongoing projects.
• Assist in preparing budget forecasts and cost-to-complete reports.
• Evaluate subcontractor and vendor quotations for cost comparison.

3. Billing & Invoice Management

• Prepare client bills (RA bills, final bills) and ensure timely submission.
• Check and certify subcontractor/vendor bills as per site progress.
• Reconcile quantities with the execution team and maintain clear billing documentation.

4. Contract & Documentation

• Assist in preparing and reviewing contracts, work orders, and variation claims.
• Maintain proper documentation related to costs, measurements, quotes, and financials.
• Support in resolving any quantity or billing discrepancies.

5. Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate regularly with project managers, site engineers, procurement, and clients.
• Prepare weekly/monthly reports on billing status, cost deviations, and progress.
• Participate in project review meetings and provide commercial insights.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong expertise in BOQ preparation and quantity take-offs.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Project, and QS estimation software (e.g., CostX, Candy).
• Excellent understanding of construction materials, methods, and contracts.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with high accuracy.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying.
• 5–6 years of relevant experience in billing, quantity surveying, and estimation.
• Experience in handling BOQ-based projects is mandatory.

Additional Requirements

• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of relevant IS codes and industry standards.
• Ability to conduct site visits and verify executed work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
