Quality Officer

Role Overview: As a Quality Officer at V Group, your primary responsibility will be to coordinate all local crewing quality and compliance related matters. You will ensure that all certifications are maintained in order and coordinate with statutory authorities when necessary. Your role will also involve managing local Quality Management System (QMS) document control and ensuring compliance with ISO, MLC 2006, SRPS, and TMSA standards. You will work closely with the Head of Global Quality Assurance to ensure effective compliance management. Key Responsibilities: - Assist RCOD/Operations Managers in preparing Quality management documentation and communicating the same to all concerned parties. - Maintain records of all local work and Operational instructions issued by RCOD and communicate them to relevant parties. - Store, maintain, and keep inventory of all Quality Management System documents and records as per the needs of the quality management system. - Plan and schedule training and familiarization of staff related to Quality in consultation with the RCOD. - Schedule internal and external audits for crewing operations in consultation with the RCOD and Global QA. - Maintain records of all audits, audit findings, and monitor their closure, ensuring all Audit Reports are logged in ShipSure Office Inspection Manager. - Coordinate with clients, obtain feedback on services provided through surveys, and plan all travel and logistics for external auditors. - Keep updated on the latest regulations impacting crewing, release updates in consultation with the RCOD and Global QA. - Follow up with operations managers or respective PIC for mandatory reporting of crewing related incidents to authorities. - Liaise with other V Group offices as required and exchange/share data for compliance with VMS. - Manage documents to be submitted to Consulates/Administration and local statutory authorities. - Support in communication of office KPIs to all colleagues and prepare quality presentations when required. - Provide regular quality assurance supervision and reporting over Global QA.
