Job Description

A Quality Line Inspector ensures products meet standards by inspecting materials and finished goods, using tools like calipers/micrometers, documenting defects, reporting issues, and recommending process adjustments to production teams, focusing on in-process checks and final approval to maintain high quality and customer satisfaction. Core Responsibilities:

  • Inspection & Testing: Examine raw materials, components, and finished products for defects, dimensional accuracy, and compliance with specifications/blueprints.
  • Use of Equipment: Operate precision measuring tools (calipers, gauges, micrometers) and electronic inspection software.
  • Documentation: Record all inspection results, maintain quality records, issue Non-Conformance Reports and prepare reports for supervisors.
  • Process Monitoring: Monitor production processes to ensure they meet standards and identify deviations.
  • Collaboration: Work with production staff to resolve quality issues in real-time and communicate standards to line operators.
  • Approval/Rejection: Accept or reject finished items and disposition of non-conforming products.

Key Duties:

  • Conduct in-process and final quality checks on the manufacturing line.
  • Identify, quarantine, and document suspect or defective products.
  • Recommend corrective actions and process improvements to prevent recurring issues.
  • Ensure adherence to company quality policies, industry regulations (like GMP/ISO), and safety standards.
  • Review technical drawings, specifications, and quality manuals.
  • Assist with audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
  • Proficiency with inspection tools and equipment.
  • Good communication skills for interacting with production and management.
  • Understanding of quality control principles and documentation practices

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,334.72 per month
