job Description

1. To review technical specification for all projects or project enquiries to meet their Quality and technical requirements. Based on that, prepare relevant MQP/QAP or ITP (Inspection Test Plan).
2. To ensure Quality requirements and compliances are strictly implemented as per required Quality standards & specifications during the manufacturing process.
3. Communicate and aware the quality requirement amongst the quality team and production/process team so that all the requirements are met.
4. To liaison with internal departments and external agencies and customer for Quality requirements and compliances to ensure that product and services are delivered are free of defects and meeting customers expectation.
5. To review all NCR and initiate corrections and corrective preventive actions for Quality Compliance.
6. To Prepare 8D Report, CAPA, Customer redressal action plan and implementation.
7. To provide on-the-job training and awareness programs to QC inspectors in the areas of Quality Control about testing, standards, codes, procedures, practices, documentation and enhance their working skills and competencies.
8. To develop procedure & forms for the Quality department.
9. To roll out a fundamental Quality set up projects and programs.
10. To face audit and assessment for compliance.
11. To Implement ISO 9001, 14001, 18001, EN 1090, ISO 3834, 5S established in the company for the compliance of respective system.

Job Knowledge:

1. Relevant Experience in the field of Transmission Line towers with minimum 15 years of experience working as head in the quality function (leadership position).
2. Knowledge of Structural Steel, Steel Fabrication, Welding, Hot Dip Galvanizing processes
3. International Code and Standards like ASTM, ASME, ISO, DIN, BS in the field of above application process.
4. Computer Skills to analyse data and prepare reports.
5. Knowledge of Statistical Tools and its applications.

3. Ability to perform Data Analysis and Problem-solving techniques.

5. Internal Coordination, persuasion and stand for the quality as voice of customer (VOC)

Responsibility for Action & Decision:

1. Position operates at functional head level where above are guidelines for desire result achieve.
2. The head must determine most effective system to the work based on analysis, technical approach, Project Quality Requirements.
3. Identify require resources and agree with senior management for the arrangement operation wise, financial wise to implement.
