Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement field QA/QC systems across seed production, harvest, conditioning, treatment, processing, and packaging
Lead QA and QC laboratory activities including seed purity, germination, moisture, vigor, trait/gene purity, and health testing (PCR, ELISA, GOT)
Ensure laboratory compliance & maintain QA metrics report
Coordinate with external agencies, partner thirdparty labs, suppliers and regulatory bodies; support ISTA seed lot certification and proficiency testing participation
Conduct field inspections and growout tests (GOT), ensuring genetic purity, germination, vigor, physical purity, moisture, trait purity, and packaging standards
Define SOPs for seed sampling, inspection, and field testing

Qualifications & Skills

Strong knowledge of lab QA systems, ISO/NABL, ISTA rules, and proficiency testing frameworks.
Proven leadership and team management in QA/QC operations.
Excellent communication skills, crossfunctional coordination, and training ability.
