Quality Engineering Lead (Test Lead)

Project Role Description :

Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

15 years full time educationSummary: As a Quality Engineering Lead, you will lead a team of quality engineers, guiding them through the complexities of multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality applications, while applying your business and functional knowledge to develop comprehensive testing strategies. You will focus on enhancing the quality processes and methodologies throughout the application lifecycle, ensuring that testing is thorough and effective, and that any defects are promptly addressed. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge. - Monitor and report on the progress of testing activities, ensuring alignment with project timelines and quality standards. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Guidewire PolicyCenter QA. - Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies and best practices. - Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks. - Ability to analyze complex requirements and translate them into effective test cases. - Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter QA. - This position is based at our Hyderabad office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
