Quality Engineer

As an Engineer Quality Control at Unitile, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products by conducting thorough testing of incoming raw materials and final products. Your responsibilities will include utilizing UTM machines for mechanical and physical property tests, conducting in-process audits, and investigating root causes of quality issues. You will also be responsible for implementing corrective actions, maintaining a well-equipped Quality Control laboratory, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. To excel in this role, you are expected to have in-depth knowledge of the products and processes you work with, particularly in industries such as gypsum powder/board manufacturing, cement plants, and large paper/packaging manufacturing. Hands-on experience in a Continuous Improvement Environment like TPM, WCM, or Six Sigma will be advantageous. You will collaborate with production teams, develop and implement quality standards, and participate in cross-functional teams for new product development. The ideal candidate will possess a degree or diploma in quality, industrial, or mechanical engineering with 5-8 years of experience in quality assurance. Knowledge of quality management systems, statistical quality control, Six Sigma, and Good Manufacturing Practices is essential. Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills are required to succeed in this role. Additionally, you should be able to work independently, handle pressure, and demonstrate high levels of computer proficiency.
