Job Summary

Quality Assurance Engineer II (QAE II)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute

  test cases and automation scripts

  for web and API applications.
• Perform

  functional, regression, integration, and system testing

  for product releases.
• Implement

  test automation frameworks

  (preferably Playwright or Selenium).
• Conduct

  API testing

  using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
• Validate data integrity and perform

  SQL/database testing

  .
• Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to ensure

  CI/CD pipeline integration

  of automated tests.
• Participate in

  bug triage, root cause analysis, and release readiness

  reviews.
• Work on

  test data management, environment readiness

  , and release validation.
• Contribute to

  performance and load testing

  initiatives.
• Adopt modern tools (AI-assisted testing, code-based testing approaches) for test optimization and faster delivery.

Technical Skills

• Automation Frameworks:

  Playwright, Selenium, TestNG, or similar

• API Testing Tools:

  Postman, RestAssured, Swagger

• Programming/Scripting:

  Java, JavaScript, or Python (hands-on required)

• Database:

  SQL fundamentals, query writing, and data validation

• CI/CD:

  Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or equivalent

• Defect Tracking & Collaboration:

  JIRA, Confluence

• Performance/Load Testing:

  JMeter, k6 (good to have)

• AI Tools:

  Familiarity with tools like Cursor, Windsurf (optional but desirable)

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and debugging skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred (Good to Have)

• Experience in
