Quality Engineer

As a Quality Engineer, your role will involve driving the testing strategy, collaborating with developers, and closely partnering with product teams. You will be responsible for developing and executing QE methodologies for BI solutions across EDW & Big Data platforms. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing and executing QE methodologies for BI solutions across EDW & Big Data platforms. - Designing test plans, test cases, and automation scripts for dashboards, semantic models, and reporting workflows. - Validating data accuracy and business rules across Snowflake, Oracle, and other data sources. - Building/maintaining automation frameworks for regression and performance testing. - Collaborating with BI developers & data engineers to identify and resolve defects early. - Providing quality metrics and supporting release readiness and production stability. To be successful in this role, you must have: - 3-5 years of experience in QE/QA for BI, Data Analytics, or Data Warehouse environments. - Strong hands-on testing experience with MicroStrategy & Power BI. - Solid SQL skills; knowledge of Python or Unix scripting would be a plus. - Familiarity with Snowflake & Oracle. - Understanding of BI best practices, data modeling, and DW concepts. - Experience with automation, performance testing, and data quality validation. - Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced agile environment. - Retail customer data experience is preferred.,
