Quality Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

Inspection and Monitoring: • Conduct inward inspection of components/ parts within 24 hours of receipt from suppliers. • Conduct inspection and documentation at the supplier end for project and production-related parts /Tooling. • Conduct inward inspection and issue correct job cards. • Perform both in-house and outsourced testing for parts. Quality Management: • Conduct Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) for new parts. • Work on new part development, including process parameters and documentation. • Create and maintain a quality-focused environment on the shop floor. • Suggest and implement improvements in processes and systems Record Maintenance: • Maintain detailed records of rejection, rework, and conduct trend analysis to identify patterns and areas for improvement. • Ensure proper record-keeping in compliance with ISO standards and 5S practices. • Update quality-related data in the ERP system.
