Job Description

Ensuring quality of in-process components.
Monitoring of Setting approval, In-process inspection report, SPC, Error-proofing, Traceability, 5S & Document control in process.
Maintain the accountability of Rejection/Rework of the components & initiating CAPA for the same.
Ensure availability & usage of calibrated gauges and measuring instruments.
Ensure Quality Records are maintained in line with the retention period.
Co-ordinate for disposition of Non-conforming product at regular intervals.
To ensure sufficient manpower for process & stage inspection.
Responsible to maintain the 4M Change records (Including Major break downs related to Machine, Tool & Fixture) verification and getting approval from QA Head for critical changes as per 4M Change SOP
Responsible for Mistake Proofing and Continuous improvement in process.
Carry out product audit & process audit as per the frequency.
DWM activity
Work place safety
Skill Evaluation of Line inspectors, Skill Development planning & Skill Matrix Updation.
