Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Assist in the implementation and maintenance of Quality Management Systems (QMS), including ISO/TS 16949, IATF 16949 standards.
Monitor and evaluate production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Support PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), FMEA, Control Plans, and APQP documentation.
Conduct root cause analysis and support corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for customer complaints and internal rejections.
Perform in-process inspection, final inspection, and audits as per defined quality criteria.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Production, Design, and Procurement to resolve quality issues.
Work closely with suppliers to ensure incoming material quality.
Maintain proper documentation for traceability, audits, and customer requirements.
Support continuous improvement initiatives using tools like 5 Whys, Pareto Analysis, Fishbone Diagram, etc.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, or Automobile Engineering.
1-3 years of relevant experience in the Injection molding based auto parts manufacturing
Hands-on experience with measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, CMM, etc.).
Basic understanding of statistical process control (SPC), MSA, and quality tools.
Familiarity with IATF 16949 and customer-specific requirements is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and documentation abilities.
Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems.
