Quality Controller (QC)

As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of fabric, trims, and finished garments meet the required standards. Your responsibilities will include: - **Pre-Production Responsibilities:** - Conduct fabric inspections to identify defects like color variation, weaving faults, and stains before production commences. - Inspect trims and accessories such as zippers, buttons, and labels to ensure they meet quality standards. - Evaluate fit samples, pre-production samples (PP samples), and size sets to ensure compliance with buyer requirements. - **In-Line Quality Control (During Production):** - Perform Initial Production Checks (IPC) to verify the correctness of the first few pieces produced. - Monitor the production process in real-time on the sewing floor to identify and rectify defects. - Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for cutting, stitching, washing, and finishing. - **End-Line or Final Inspection:** - Conduct final inspections on garments at the end of the production line for defects like loose threads, poor stitching, sizing issues, and finishing errors. - Verify measurements to match the approved chart and inspect packing according to buyer specifications. - **Reporting and Documentation:** - Maintain detailed quality reports documenting inspection results, defects found, and corrective actions taken. - Analyze defects to identify root causes and collaborate with production for corrective measures. - Assist in compliance audits, including AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) audits. - **Communication and Coordination:** - Coordinate with production, merchandising, and finishing teams to uphold quality standards effectively. **Qualification Required:** - Any Degree **Language Required:** - Tamil This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including health insurance, Provident Fund, yearly bonus, and day shift schedule.
