Job Description

As a Quality Checker Electrical, your role involves ensuring that all electrical materials, installations, and workmanship at project sites or manufacturing facilities meet company and industry standards. You will conduct routine and final quality inspections on various electrical equipment, collaborate with different teams to resolve issues, and maintain detailed inspection records. Your attention to detail and knowledge of electrical standards will be crucial in maintaining product quality and ensuring workplace safety. Key Responsibilities: - Perform routine and final quality inspections on electrical panels, transformers, switchgears, and other equipment according to design specifications and industry standards. - Conduct functional and visual inspections, insulation resistance tests, high-voltage testing, and continuity checks. - Verify components, wiring, and labeling based on electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics. - Ensure compliance with internal quality standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. - Prepare detailed inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and quality documentation. - Collaborate with production, design, and testing teams to address issues and implement corrective actions. - Monitor and enhance inspection and testing procedures to improve product quality and efficiency. - Participate in internal audits and support third-party/customer inspections and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT). - Maintain records of inspection data, test results, and certificates of compliance. - Ensure workplace safety and adherence to safety procedures during inspection activities. Qualifications Required: - Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering - 3 years of experience in quality inspection or electrical QA/QC - Good understanding of electrical drawings, standards, and codes - Familiarity with tools such as multimeters, insulation testers, and clamp meters - Ability to work on project sites and collaborate with contractors and vendors - Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills In addition to the above responsibilities, you may have the opportunity to work on solar, EPC, or infrastructure projects and apply your knowledge of IS/IEC standards for electrical systems. Experience with quality control systems like ISO 9001 is considered a plus. Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position with benefits such as health insurance, leave encashment, paid sick time, paid time off, and Provident Fund. The work schedule is during the day shift at the in-person work location.,
