Role Overview

Village Decor works with multiple vendors who manufacture our clayware, stoneware, ironware, and handmade kitchen products.

We are hiring a Quality Control Executive to visit vendor locations, inspect material quality, and ensure only perfect products reach our customers.

Key Responsibilities

On-Site Quality Inspection

Visit vendor locations for daily/weekly QC checks.

Inspect raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods.

Identify cracks, dents, size variation, color mismatch, polish issues, weight deviation, and packaging defects.

Approve or reject batches based on QC standards.

Reporting

Maintain daily QC report with quantity checked, pass/fail details, and photos/videos.

Share report with Purchase & Operations team before 7 PM

Vendor Coordination

Communicate quality issues to vendor supervisors.

Ensure vendors follow Village Decor quality guidelines.

Conduct weekly quality improvement review.

Batch Control

Tag approved items as QC PASSED.

Separate and report rejected items clearly.

Ensure no defective product is dispatched to warehouse.

Requirements

Experience in Quality Control (QC) or Production preferred

Freshers with strong attention to detail also welcome

Ability to identify visual and physical defects

Basic Excel / ERP usage

Good communication skills (/Tamil/English preferred)

Willingness to travel to vendor sites
