Job Description

Key Responsibilities Communication with Buyers: Understand buyer requirements. Share design ideas, samples, and get approvals. Clarify specifications regarding fabrics, trims, accessories, etc. Product Development: Coordinate with the design team to develop samples. Arrange materials (fabrics, trims, embellishments). Ensure samples meet the buyer’s quality and design expectations. Costing and Negotiation: Prepare cost sheets including fabric, trims, labor, shipping, and overheads. Negotiate pricing with buyers and vendors. Production Planning and Follow-up: Create time and action (T&A) calendars for production stages. Monitor production progress and ensure deadlines are met. Coordinate with the production, quality, and logistics teams. Sourcing and Procurement: Source suitable materials at competitive prices. Ensure timely delivery of raw materials to avoid production delays. Quality Control: Ensure that products meet buyer specifications. Coordinate with the quality team for inspections and audits. Documentation and Logistics: Handle purchase orders (POs), invoices, shipping documents. Coordinate with freight forwarders for timely delivery.
