Position Overview

The Quality Checker Supervisor will oversee the quality checking process for shirts and ensure adherence to company standards. This role involves supervising a team of checkers, coordinating with the Senior QC and Finishing In-charge, and maintaining consistent quality throughout the production cycle. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in garment quality, especially in woven shirts, and strong leadership skills to guide the checking team effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and consistent garment quality, specifically for shirts (fits, measurements, stitching, finishing, trims, and overall appearance).

• Job worker Visit and inspections
• Supervise and manage a team of quality checkers, ensuring productivity and efficiency on the checking floor.
• Conduct inline, mid-line, and final inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Coordinate closely with the production Manager and Finishing In-charge to ensure 100% quality and on-time delivery.
• Identify defects, quality issues, and root causes; implement corrective actions with relevant departments.
• Maintain inspection reports, defect logs, and daily QC records.
• Train checking staff on quality parameters, defect identification, and inspection techniques.
• Ensure products meet buyer requirements and internal quality benchmarks.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and reduce rejections.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in garment quality checking (preferably shirts).
• Degree/Diploma in Garment Manufacturing, Textile Engineering, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of quality standards for woven shirts, stitching, measurements, and finishing.
• Ability to supervise and guide a team effectively.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Detail-oriented, disciplined, and committed to maintaining high quality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
