Quality Control Officer

Job Description

Inspect and evaluate the quality of wheat, maize, and other grains. Collect samples and test them in the lab as per defined standards. Check for pests, moisture content, foreign matter, and fungal presence. Ensure compliance with government and institutional quality standards (e.g., FSSAI, AGMARK). Prepare quality reports for grains received at procurement centers or warehouses. Monitor the condition of stored grains and report regularly. Investigate reasons for quality deterioration and suggest corrective actions. Maintain records and submit inspection reports on time. Provide training to field staff and supervisors on quality-related aspects. Assist in quality audits and sampling procedures.
