JOB TITILE: Quality Control In charge

DEPARTMENT: Maintenance / Production

REPORT TO: Maintenance Supervisor /Plant Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for Quality Control (QC) In-charge in the Aluminium Composite Panel (ACP) industry who is responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of ACP products throughout the manufacturing process, from raw material inspection to final product release, often leading a team of QC inspectors and implementing quality control procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of ACP manufacturing, quality control standards, and problem-solving skills, often with a Bachelor's degree in a related field and several years of experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing Quality Control Operations:

Managing the daily activities of the QC department, ensuring adherence to quality standards and procedures.

• Implementing & Monitoring Quality Control:

Developing, implementing, and maintaining quality control procedures and standards for ACP production.

• Team Leadership:

Leading and training a team of QC inspectors and coordinating with production managers to address quality issues.

• Inspections & Audits:

Conducting regular audits and inspections of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished ACP products to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards. This includes verifying dimensions, appearance, colour matching, wearability, and resistance to various agents like acids, alkalis, oils, and solvents.

• Troubleshooting & Corrective Actions:

Identifying and resolving quality issues through root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

• Documentation & Reporting:

Maintaining accurate records of quality control activities and preparing reports for senior management.

• Compliance:

Ensuring ACP products meet regulatory and safety standards, and collaborating with third-party inspections and client walkthroughs.

• Continuous Improvement:

Developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills: -

• Education:

Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field is often required,

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality control or assurance role, with proven experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity. Specific experience with ACP manufacturing or façade systems is highly preferred.

• Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of quality control standards and methodologies, familiarity with testing equipment and laboratory instruments, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

• Soft Skills:

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication and leadership abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹13,500.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
