Material Engineer & Quality Control Engineer

Job Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced engineer to fulfill the combined role of Material Engineer and Quality Control Engineer. With at least 6 years of experience in materials engineering and quality control, the successful candidate will enhance product development by integrating advanced material solutions and maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop new materials with enhanced properties for various applications, ensuring they meet product specifications and quality standards.
• Implement quality control procedures for incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure adherence to internal and external guidelines.
• Analyze failures and defects in materials and processes, conducting root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with R&D and production teams to integrate material innovations and quality standards into product designs and manufacturing processes.
• Oversee the testing of raw materials and final products to validate performance against required standards and specifications.
• Manage the transition of new materials from the development phase to mass production, ensuring scalability and cost-efficiency.
• Prepare detailed documentation and reports on material performance, quality control activities, and audit findings for stakeholder review.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements in materials science and quality assurance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Materials Science, Quality Engineering, or a closely related field.
• A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in materials engineering and quality control.
• Demonstrated expertise in material testing methods and quality assurance protocols.
• Proficient in using analytical and quality software tools such as MATLAB, Minitab, or similar.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a strong focus on detail and accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
