Quality Check Engineer (QC) – Luxury Furniture Manufacturing

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically sound Quality Check Engineer to join our team. You’ll be responsible for quality control at all stages of furniture production—particularly in upholstery—ensuring our premium products meet the highest standards of craftsmanship, comfort, and aesthetics. This role also involves coordination with the design, technical, and production teams, and maintaining a data-driven knowledge base of product specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct quality checks at three critical stages: initial, mid, and final inspection
• Review engineering drawings and monitor execution during production
• Evaluate upholstery for comfort, finish, look, and aesthetics
• Maintain a technical knowledge base with photographs, dimensions, materials, and specs for new designs and products
• Track upholstery material usage: how much is ordered, consumed, and remaining
• Coordinate with the Head Office for drawings, technical clarifications, and production updates
• Share daily QC reports and monitor project-wise production quality
• Update delivery schedules and flag delays or deviations early
• Handle complaints, document issues, and support resolution with relevant teams
• Train new team members and support resource planning for quality teams
• Recommend continuous improvements in product design and production processes
• Ensure compliance with internal quality benchmarks and industry standards

Qualifications & Skills

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Furniture Design, or Quality Management
• 2–5 years of experience in furniture or upholstery manufacturing QC
• Strong knowledge of materials, measurements, and engineering drawings
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Hands-on with MS Office and basic ERP systems
• Eye for detail and a passion for design, aesthetics, and product quality

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
