Quality Assurance Specialist

As a Quality Assurance (QA) engineer, your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure the quality of our products. You will play a crucial role in designing and implementing tests, debugging issues, and defining corrective actions. In addition, you will review system requirements and monitor quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts. Your role as a QA engineer will be essential in the product development process of our company. You will be tasked with conducting tests before product launches to ensure that the software operates smoothly and meets the needs of our clients in a cost-effective manner. Key Responsibilities: - Creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. - Estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating testing activities. - Designing, developing, and executing automation scripts using open source tools. - Identifying, recording, documenting, and tracking bugs. - Performing thorough regression testing after bug resolution. - Developing and implementing testing processes for both new and existing products. - Collaborating with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to understand system requirements. - Monitoring the debugging process results. - Tracking quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts. - Staying updated with the latest testing tools and strategies. Requirements: - Proven work experience in software quality assurance. - Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. - Experience in creating clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases. - Hands-on experience with automated testing tools. - Solid understanding of SQL and scripting. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes. - Experience in performance and/or security testing is a plus. - Proficiency in using defect reporting tool Jira. - BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.,
