Quality Assurance, Monitoring & Testing Sr. Group Manager - C15 - PUNE

In Quality Assurance, Monitoring & Testing, you are responsible for assessing outcomes from activities and processes against applicable requirements to enhance risk management quality. This includes conducting quality testing for business function quality control and transformation lead quality control post completion of an activity/process. You will develop and execute Monitoring and Testing for controls, such as control design assessment, operational effectiveness design, monitoring & testing tools design assessment, and execution of monitoring/testing tools to evaluate the effectiveness of key controls addressing defined risks. Responsibilities: - Manage large and diverse teams by providing leadership and guidance through managers. - Foster an innovative environment within diverse teams to promote the development of robust control programs and strategies. - Make critical decisions aligned with functional objectives. - Oversee the implementation of the Control Framework for quality, completeness, and accuracy including Risk Control Policy, Control Standard, Issue Management Policy, Lesson Learned Policy, and Control Inventory. - Drive assessment of activities and processes in accordance with Policies, Standards, and Procedures to enhance risk management quality. - Supervise routine testing of internal activities and processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and identify areas of risk or non-compliance. - Integrate stakeholder/client feedback and address any quality assurance complaints or issues promptly and efficiently. - Lead the Controls Testing Utility by assessing control design, designing control testing tools, developing control testing procedures, ensuring control testing transitions, dispositioning exceptions, and developing insights to address root causes. - Identify emerging operational risks and propose measures to mitigate those risks. - Serve as a subject matter expert on control testing automation initiatives and provide automation support as needed. - Engage business owners to review Activities-Risk-Controls and define executable processes. - Maintain the automation dashboard to ensure timely and quality project delivery. - Assess risk in business decisions with a focus on safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by complying with laws, rules, and regulations, applying ethical judgment, and reporting control issues transparently. Qualifications: - 15+ years of experience in operational risk management, compliance, audit, or other control-related functions in the financial services industry. - Ability to identify, measure, and manage key risks and controls. - Sound business judgment with attention to critical details. - Proficiency in developing and implementing strategy and process improvement initiatives. - In-depth understanding of Citigroup's businesses, functions, and risk profiles. - Ability to provide challenge and recommendations for risk and controls remediation. - Excellent knowledge in the development and execution of controls. - Proven experience in control-related functions in the financial industry. - Experience in implementing sustainable solutions and process improvements. - Deep understanding of compliance laws, rules, regulations, and best practices. - Familiarity with Citigroup's Policies, Standards, and Procedures. - Exceptional leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills. - Strong communication skills to engage and inspire stakeholders. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
