Job Title: QA Manager

Experience Required: 10+ Years

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced QA Manager with 10+ years of expertise in leading quality assurance teams, driving test strategy, and ensuring delivery of high-quality products. The ideal candidate will manage manual and automation testing teams, establish QA processes, and collaborate closely with development and product stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable, and secure applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of QA engineers (manual + automation).

Define and implement QA strategy, test frameworks, and best practices.

Drive test planning, test execution, defect management, and reporting.

Establish and maintain quality metrics and dashboards for leadership.

Collaborate with Product, Development, and DevOps teams to ensure quality across SDLC.

Oversee automation frameworks, CI/CD integration, and performance testing.

Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and industry standards.

Mentor, train, and build high-performing QA teams.

Manage resource planning, project timelines, and deliverables for multiple projects.

Proactively identify risks, gaps, and improvements in processes.

Technical Skills Required:

Strong expertise in manual & automation testing methodologies.

Hands-on experience with test automation tools: Selenium, Cypress, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, Playwright, etc.

Knowledge of API testing tools: Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI.

Familiarity with performance/load testing tools: JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling.

Experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps.

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and DevOps practices.

Proficiency in test management tools (Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, QTest).

Solid knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle management.

Leadership & Soft Skills:

Proven experience in managing large QA teams across geographies.

Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.

Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication, reporting, and presentation skills.

Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in QA.

Education:

Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.

ISTQB / CSTE / PMP / Agile certifications (preferred).
