Quality Assurance Manager ( Garments Unit )

Job Purpose:

To lead the Quality Assurance department and ensure all garments meet internal and external customer quality standards. The role involves developing and implementing quality systems, ensuring in-line and final product quality, managing audits, and driving continuous improvement across production processes.

Key Responsibilities:Quality Management:

• Develop, implement, and monitor QA systems and SOPs across the production floor.
• Ensure all garments meet customer quality requirements and international standards (e.g., AQL levels).
• Supervise inline, end-line, and final inspections for all styles and production stages.
• Coordinate with the production team to ensure preventive measures are taken to reduce defects.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and manage the QA team including inline, end-line, and final auditors.
• Train quality inspectors and production operators on quality standards and best practices.
• Conduct regular team performance evaluations and implement skill improvement plans.

Process Improvement:

• Analyze defect trends and root causes, and lead corrective and preventive action (CAPA).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives like 5S, Lean, and Six Sigma where applicable.
• Monitor rework, rejection, and alteration rates and take timely action.

Compliance and Audits:

• Prepare and face internal and external quality audits (buyer, third-party, certification audits).
• Ensure compliance with buyer quality manuals and technical specifications.
• Maintain documentation and reports as per buyer and industry requirements.

Coordination & Communication:

• Act as the key contact point between production, merchandising, and buyers' QA teams.
• Attend pre-production meetings (PPM) and give quality-related inputs.
• Review tech packs, samples, and buyer comments to ensure quality consistency

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹125,000.00 per year
