Quality Assurance Lead

As a Test Automation Engineer at Stantec, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and assessing Test Automation practices across products. Your responsibilities will include designing Test Automation Architecture Principles, leading or supporting Automation delivery projects, developing Automation solutions for various application technologies, and providing technical expertise in resolving Test Automation Engineering, Coding, and Architecture issues. You will also collaborate with Test Data Management, Tools, Test Environment Management, Testing Standards, and QA/Dev teams on all Test Automation related matters. Your key accountabilities will involve managing risks and deliverables to ensure testing activities remain within agreed scope, schedule, and quality standards. You will work closely with project managers and development teams to report and escalate relevant testing issues and challenges, provide support to QA, support engineer, and customers test teams, and estimate testing activities required for projects. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing customer demo presentations for project deliverables and demonstrating a good understanding of Architecture principles, Design methodologies, and Automation Framework types. To excel in this role, you should have 9+ years of experience as a Software QA professional, including experience as a Senior QA/Lead QA, 5+ years of experience in OOPS Programming, and 6+ years of experience in Test Automation across various Technologies. A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related qualifications is required, along with proficiency in at least one standard programming language such as Java, JavaScript, C#, Python, or similar. Hands-on experience in Automation Tools like Selenium, UiPath, Cucumber, SOAP UI, REST API, etc., and solid experience in Agile testing methodologies will be beneficial for this role. Your primary location will be in India, Pune, and you will be part of the Stantec IN Business Unit. This is a full-time, mid-level manager position with no travel required.
