Quality Assurance Lead

Role Overview: As a Lead Quality Analyst with 10 years of experience, your role involves developing and maintaining testing strategies for the Quality Assurance of digital offerings. You will work closely with software developers to ensure comprehensive test coverage and participate in technical/feature discussions to assess dependencies and risks. Your responsibilities also include understanding requirements, designing test cases, developing test plans and test suites, executing test suites, managing defects, and communicating testing status. Additionally, you will focus on quality, continuous improvement of tests, test efficiency, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders. You will be responsible for release testing, mentoring new joiners, working in a multidisciplinary Agile team, and adhering to Hitachi Energy core values of safety and integrity. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain testing strategies for Quality Assurance of digital offerings - Ensure comprehensive test coverage by collaborating with software developers - Participate in technical/feature discussions and assess dependencies and risks - Design test cases that meet product specifications - Develop and maintain test plans and test suites - Execute test suites, manage defects, and communicate testing status - Analyze root cause for testing failures and open appropriate defects - Focus on quality, continuous improvement of tests, and test efficiency - Collaborate effectively with stakeholders - Mentor new joiners in the team - Work in a multidisciplinary Agile team - Conduct tests in various environments (QA, Staging, UAT, Production) - Ensure adherence to design standards, coding standards, testing standards, and reviews Qualifications Required: - B.E/B.Tech in EEE/ECE/CSE - 10+ years of experience as a Quality Analyst - Strong knowledge and experience in automation tools like Selenium, WebDriver IO, Cypress, Playwright - Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python - Experience in testing APIs using tools like POSTMAN, SOAPUI, REST-Assured - Experience in functional testing, integration testing, system testing, regression testing - Strong decision-making skills - Experience with performance and security testing is a plus - Experience as a Business Analyst is a plus - Self-dependent, self-motivated, and structured work approach - Passion for digitalization and automation of engineering work processes Please forward your resume to clarita.fernandes@interspence.com if interested.,
