Quality Assistant Manager

Role Summary:

To ensure excellence in fabrication processes and products by developing, implementing, and maintaining quality control systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate defects, improve processes, and enhance overall product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Inward inspection, inprocess inspection, and functionality tests as per spec

Identify and address quality issues, defects, and non-conformities in fabrication processes.

Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve quality issues.

Collaborate with production teams to improve fabrication processes and reduce defects.

Develop and maintain quality metrics, reports, and dashboards.

Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Manage and maintain quality records and documentation.

Requirements:

Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or related field.

* 8+ years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in fabrication or manufacturing.

* Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.).

* Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards.

* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

* Proficient in quality tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA, 8D).

Technical Skills:

* Knowledge of welding, machining, or other fabrication processes.

Physical Requirements:

* Ability to work in a factory environment.

* Willingness to wear personal protective equipment (PPE).

* Occasional travel to suppliers or customer sites.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per month
