Quality Analyst

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts to validate functionality, performance, and scalability of software applications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Identify, analyze, and report software defects using appropriate bug tracking tools.

Participate in the design and implementation of test automation frameworks and strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness of testing processes.

Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure software stability across different releases and environments.

Continuously research and implement best practices in test automation tools and techniques to enhance overall product quality.

Work closely with manual testers to transition manual test cases into automated scripts and provide guidance on automation best practices.

Provide timely and accurate feedback to stakeholders on test results, status, and any potential quality risks.

Contribute to the ongoing improvement of QA processes and methodologies to maintain high standards of software quality.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

2-4 years of experience in QA Automation/Manual, with a strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.

Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium Web Driver, Appium, or similar.

Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and web application architectures.

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
