Quality Analyst Lead

SUMMARY

The Quality Assurance Engineer works with the Agile and Product Management and Development teams ensuring that client requirements have been implemented properly into client deliverables. The Quality Assurance Engineer will review requirements, develop test scenarios, and execute those test cases via repeatable automations ensuring the final product matches expectations. This individual plays a critical role ensuring the quality of all work being delivered to OneMagnify clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Experience with the configuration of automated testing tools to create regression test

scripts

Ability to review and understand client requirements in the form of Jira user stories

Ability to translate requirements into test plans, test scenarios, test cases, etc. to

ensure a thorough test of the deliverable

Understands relational databases and able to test and validate data

Assist internal or external clients with user acceptance testing and validation efforts as

requested

Identify/suggest improvements to requirements tools, templates, and processes

Analyze automated testing tool output and document issues, defects, etc.

Develop product and domain knowledge and expertise

Perform regression testing via automated tools for designated systems quarterly

Conduct system performance testing as needed

Active participant in Agile ceremonies (e.g., standups, grooming, planning,

demonstrations, etc.)

Identify 90% of defects in the lower environments

Desired Skills and Experience

Experience with implementation of automated tools for testing (Selenium, Cucumber,

Playwright, etc.)

Software development background preferred

Experience with reviewing and understanding requirements

Critical thinking and willingness to question requirements is a must

Relational database experience is mandatory; familiarity with API testing

SQL writing skills are mandatory for data validation activities

Experience with Agile Development Methodology

Bachelors degree in business, economics, or a technology related field

Automotive industry experience is preferred

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Familiarity with Jira
