Quality Analyst Lead

Role & responsibilities

• Maintain strong technical knowledge of Optical Connectivity Solutions, including components, assembly processes, and product performance parameters, to ensure quality standards are met and to support product and process improvement initiatives.
• Stay abreast of market trends, emerging technologies, and quality management best practices.
• Actively participate in New Product Development (NPD) and provide quality-related insights.
• Lead and guide vendor technical evaluations and make recommendations to the Business and SCM teams.
• Drive a culture of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Total Quality Management (TQM), and continuous improvement aligned with Sterlite values.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience in Quality functions within large manufacturing organizations in Optical Connectivity manufacturing.
• Proven leadership experience managing large, cross-functional, and global teams.
• Strong understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles; Green Belt certification preferred.
• Sound knowledge of TQM, ISO, and product certification processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Effective communicator, fluent in English.
• Willingness for travel to customer or supplier sites when required.
