Quality Analyst

As a Quality Analyst with 1-2 years of experience, your main responsibilities will include creating detailed test cases and test scenarios based on functional and non-functional requirements. You will be executing test cases manually or using automated testing tools to identify defects, inconsistencies, and deviations from expected behavior. Conducting regression testing to ensure software functions correctly after code changes and maintaining thorough documentation for knowledge sharing and compliance with testing standards will be crucial tasks. Collaborating closely with developers and team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues, providing clear and constructive feedback for timely resolution. You will also be responsible for effectively communicating testing progress, findings, and recommendations to project stakeholders. Adapting quickly to changing project requirements, priorities, and timelines will be essential to demonstrate flexibility and resilience in fast-paced environments. Contributing to the overall quality assurance process by participating in reviews, inspections, and other quality-related activities as needed. Ensuring timely delivery of assigned tasks with a focus on quality and efficiency and taking ownership of tasks and projects from inception to deployment will be key. It is important to foster a culture of ownership and accountability within the team, leading by example and encouraging team members to take ownership of their work and deliverables. To qualify for this role, you should have proven experience as a Quality Analyst or in a similar role. A strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices is required. Experience with test management and defect tracking tools like Jira is preferred, and familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks is a plus. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail, effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders are necessary. You should be able to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, possess excellent problem-solving skills with a critical and creative mindset, and demonstrate a learning attitude and willingness to adapt to new methodologies. Basic understanding of SQL and database management systems can be beneficial for testing data-intensive applications and performing database validations. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards applicable to the life sciences and healthcare sector, such as 21 CFR Part 11 and GAMP, is advantageous.
