About The Role
We're looking for a motivated and experienced
Quality Analyst Automation Engineer
to join our growing team in Jaipur, Rajasthan. In this role, you will be a vital part of our product development lifecycle, working closely with product managers, engineering teams, and operations to ensure the delivery of high-quality features and integrations for our API and data platforms. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain automated testing frameworks, validate new features, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automation testing, excellent analytical skills, and a proactive approach to quality assurance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a cutting-edge SaaS product within a dynamic and innovative environment.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a combination of technical expertise and practical experience, including:
- 2-5 years of hands-on experience in QA automation or software testing.
- Proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
- Strong programming or scripting skills in languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java.
- Experience working with automated test frameworks, including their development, maintenance, and enhancement.
- Solid understanding of various testing types including functional, regression, integration, smoke, and exploratory testing.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems such as Git, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and translate them into detailed test cases, user stories, specifications, and workflows.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for web applications and API testing to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- While automation is the primary focus, perform manual testing for complex or edge-case scenarios when necessary.
- Continuously enhance the automation framework by adopting new tools, techniques, and best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes, validate product features, and document results within Jira.
- Work closely with engineering teams during development and testing phases to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues promptly.
- Track and manage feature development, defect backlogs, and testing progress to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to foster continuous improvement.
