Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role as a Quantity Surveyor (QS) Engineer, based in Thiruvananthapuram Taluk, Kerala. The QS Engineer will be responsible for managing all costs related to building and construction projects. Day-to-day tasks include preparing cost estimates, preparing and reviewing bills of quantities, monitoring project budgets, conducting risk analysis, and collaborating with contractors and project teams to maintain financial control. Additionally, the QS Engineer will ensure quality standards are met while maximizing profitability.

Qualifications

Proficiency in cost estimation, budget preparation, and project financial management
Experience in preparing and managing bills of quantities and project reports
Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality standards
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment abilities
Proficiency in relevant software tools such as AutoCAD, MS Project, or equivalent project management applications
Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills for collaboration with contractors and other stakeholders
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
Experience in the construction or real estate industry is advantageous
Ability to work effectively in a team and meet project deadlines
