Qs & Billing Engineer

Billing of Quantities (BOQ)

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze

  BOQs

  to identify material requirements for ongoing and upcoming projects.
• Coordinate with project and engineering teams to validate BOQ specifications and requirements.
• Create, manage, and track

  Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders

  in the ERP system.
• Source suppliers and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules in accordance with company policies.
• Ensure the

  ERP system

  is accurately updated with material data, supplier info, and purchase transactions.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Prepare and maintain procurement documentation, including supplier contracts, delivery notes, and invoices.
• Assist in vendor evaluation and performance tracking.
• Collaborate with the finance department to ensure proper documentation for payment processing.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal departments to facilitate smooth procurement operations.
• Support internal audits and ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3-5 years) in a procurement or BOQ/ERP-related role, preferably in construction, engineering, or manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of

  BOQ preparation and interpretation and should also have knowledge of autocad

• Proficiency in

  ERP software

  (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Should have good knowledge in computers i.e MS Office, especially Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of construction materials and technical specifications.

Working Conditions:

• Office-based with occasional visits to project sites
• Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
