QE- Automation

We are looking for a skilled Quality Engineer Automation with hands-on expertise in Playwright to design, develop, and maintain robust automated test suites for web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of test automation frameworks, CI/CD integration, and modern QA practices to ensure the highest level of product quality.

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automated test scripts using Playwright.
  
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
  
• Ensure automation coverage for functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing.
  
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  
• Debug, analyze, and report test results, identifying root causes for failures.
  
• Contribute to test planning, test case design, and defect management.
  
• Maintain test documentation and ensure best practices are followed in automation.
  
• Stay up to date with emerging automation tools, frameworks, and QA methodologies.
  

• Proven experience in test automation with a strong focus on Playwright.
  
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript (mandatory).
  
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.
  
• Experience in writing and maintaining robust test automation frameworks.
  
• Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, etc.).
  
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git/GitHub/GitLab).
  
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD integration for automated test execution.
  
• Good understanding of cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
  
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  

• Experience with other test automation tools/frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright Test Runner, etc.).
  
• Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter, k6, etc.).
  
• Familiarity with cloud-based test execution platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
  
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
