Description
As a skilled Quality Engineer Automation with hands-on expertise in Playwright, your role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining robust automated test suites for web applications. You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria, ensuring automation coverage for functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing. Your responsibilities will also include integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines, debugging, analyzing, and reporting test results, and contributing to test planning, test case design, and defect management. Moreover, you will stay up to date with emerging automation tools, frameworks, and QA methodologies. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automated test scripts using Playwright. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria. - Ensure automation coverage for functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing. - Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc. - Debug, analyze, and report test results; identify root causes for failures. - Contribute to test planning, test case design, and defect management. - Maintain test documentation and ensure best practices are followed in automation. - Stay up to date with emerging automation tools, frameworks, and QA methodologies. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Proven experience in test automation with a strong focus on Playwright. - Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript (mandatory). - Strong understanding of software testing principles, SDLC, and Agile methodologies. - Experience in writing and maintaining robust test automation frameworks. - Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, REST Assured, etc. - Knowledge of version control systems like Git/GitHub/GitLab. - Hands-on experience with CI/CD integration for automated test execution. - Good understanding of cross-browser and cross-platform testing. - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Good to Have: - Experience with other test automation tools/frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright Test Runner, etc. - Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter, k6, etc. - Familiarity with cloud-based test execution platforms like BrowserStack, Sauce Labs. - Knowledge of containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes.,
