Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive testing of the ServiceNow platform, including ITSM and other modules as applicable.
• Understand requirements and create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, UAT, and smoke testing.
• Validate workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, catalog items, and configurations.
• Log defects, track them through resolution, and ensure quality delivery.
• Collaborate closely with developers, architects, and business teams to ensure clarity of requirements and test outcomes.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in QA processes and contribute to continuous improvement of testing methodologies.
• Support release cycles, deployments, and post-deployment validation.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3 to 8 years of overall testing experience with at least 3 years in ServiceNow testing.
• Strong understanding of testing fundamentals test design techniques, test lifecycle, defect lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience testing ServiceNow ITSM or other modules.
• Ability to test ServiceNow features such as workflows, business rules, UI actions, UI policies, catalog items, and integrations.
• Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication and documentation skills.
